Design Jadugar presents an exquisite residential transformation at the prestigious Adani Shantigram, Ahmedabad (B4-1503). This project, titled “The Heritage Moderné,” was conceptualized for a family that values the richness of Indian craftsmanship but desires the sleekness of modern living.
Our goal was to create a sanctuary that feels “rooted yet refined.” By utilizing a generous floor plan, we maximized natural ventilation and daylight, ensuring that the timeless beauty of teak wood remains the protagonist of the design narrative. Every square foot is a testament to our commitment to premium turnkey interior solutions.

For this project, we implemented a design philosophy centered around ‘Organic Elegance.’ Our primary objective was to curate a space that embodies ultra-modern functionality while remaining deeply connected to its ‘Indian Roots.’
Design Concept: While each room possesses its own distinct personality, we unified the entire residence using a Consistent Earthy Palette and Premium Woodwork. The extensive use of Grade-A Teak wood and Natural Veneers infuses the home with an everlasting sense of warmth and understated luxury.
The Power of Texture: We ventured into a tactile design approach by experimenting with diverse textures. This includes the sophisticated fusion of  Floral Fabric Inserts in the wardrobes, alongside the rhythmic beauty of Natural Cane Weaving (Bunaayi) in the bedrooms. These elements provide a ‘Handcrafted’ bespoke appeal that stands in stark contrast to mass-produced furniture.
Flooring Strategy: To visually demarcate different functional zones, we employed a strategic flooring plan. The Master Suite features a sophisticated Herringbone Pattern Wood floor for a royal touch, while the Guest wing utilizes Artisanal Patterned Tiles to create a playful, boho-ethnic energy.
Lighting & Mood Architecture: Our lighting design is engineered to balance the home’s ambiance across the day:
Daytime: We maximized natural daylight through an open-concept layout and the use of sheer, breathable curtains.
Evening: The residence is transformed into a serene sanctuary using a 3000K Warm White Ambient Glow. By integrating profile light , linear light and Hidden Cove Accents, we maintained a clutter-free ceiling while precisely highlighting key design focal points.
Functional Aesthetics: We believe that true design must be as functional as it is beautiful. To achieve this, we custom-designed Wood-slat Casings to seamlessly conceal AC units and curated a premium hardware collection featuring Antique Gold & Brushed Brass handles—delivering a flawless blend of utility and high-end style.
Architectural Verticality: On the primary living room wall, we implemented Full-height Vertical Wood Paneling. This design choice visually extends the ceiling height, creating a grand architectural statement that exudes luxury.
The Artisanal Partition: To define the Living and Dining zones without closing off the space, we designed a custom-made partition. It features a sophisticated blend of Traditional Turned Wood Pillars and Intricate CNC Jaali work, maintaining privacy while preserving the “Open-concept” flow.
Curated Dining Experience: The space is anchored by a signature Oval White Marble-top Dining Table, paired with ivory-toned tufted sofas that provide modern comfort against the rugged, natural textures of the woodwork.
The Modern ‘Dandiya’ Bed: The room’s focal point is an exclusive Four-poster bed, designed with sleek, contemporary lines. It serves as a modern tribute to Gujarat’s vibrant cultural heritage, blending tradition with minimalist luxury.
Integrated Aesthetics: We prioritized a clutter-free environment by concealing the split AC unit within a Custom Wood-slat Casing, ensuring that modern appliances do not disrupt the room’s “Tropical Sanctuary” theme.
Biophilic Backdrop: Behind the bed, we installed a lush Tropical Botanical Wallpaper, effectively bringing the calming essence of nature indoors.
Holistic Wall Art: Dedicated to wellness and meditation, this space features a curated wall display of Surya Namaskar Asanas depicted within circular wooden frames.
Serene Ombré Gradient: The walls are finished with a custom Peach-to-White Ombré Gradient paint, symbolizing the tranquility of a sunrise and creating a perfect environment for focus and serenity.
Cane & Craftsmanship: Embracing an organic aesthetic, we integrated Natural Cane Weaving (Bunaayi) into the headboard and furniture accents, giving the room a breathable, earthy feel.
Textile Artistry: An oversized Ikat-patterned framed textile serves as the primary wall decor, providing the room with an upscale ‘Boutique Stay’ atmosphere.
Functional Warmth: A sleek U-shaped kitchen featuring teak-finish cabinetry and a vibrant Moroccan-style tile backsplash for a clean, energized cooking environment.
Divine Craftsmanship: A handcrafted White Duco-finish Mandir with intricate carvings and Shrinathji Pichwai art, creating a soulful spiritual anchor for the home.
Spa-inspired Bathroom: The shower area is transformed with Tropical Leaf-patterned tiles and premium Gold-finish fixtures, delivering a high-end spa experience daily.
Smart Storage: All wardrobes feature a unique combination of Floral Fabric Inserts, Fluted Glass, and Brushed Brass hardware, ensuring that storage is both highly functional and aesthetically beautiful.
